Webjan 31, 2018 · you'll be best off to open the dash and access the back of the tach with a tester to check for continuity back to the sending unit first, to see if the wires are ok.

Webjun 1, 2017 · i purchased a 1994 peterbilt 377 a few months ago and the speedometer (and tripometer/odometer) & the tachometer have never worked.
The transmission has one sensor on the tailshaft that i pulled out and cleaned up then reinstalled, nothing.
The cruise control does.
The valve cover says 435hp but we were told.
They go back and forth between zero to pegged out.
